  I have a question about the assemblies.

  when i was young (er) the society said the army came to the assemblies to observe how they fed the flock.. my question is, even though the asemblies were much more grander then now, with the food distribution ending and all, feeding thousands of people.

  now they bring their own lunches.......i regress...does anyone remember how the military was in awe of us?.

  Smooth operations were due to two things—pre-organizational work and the enthusiasm of the workers.

  Of course the workers were enthusiastic. It was far better than having to stay in your seat and listen to the boring talks.

  I heard that the US Marines were at the assembly in Pontiac Michigan this year. They had reliable intelligence from the White House that there were weapons of mass destruction there. However after witnessing a dome full of brain dead robots, they all left in shock and awe.

  my questions are (besides the obvious): who is going to take the rap eventually for these heretofore unsolved florida murders?

  whose innocent lives may yet rot in jail while this now baptized perpetrator goes free to share in field service and attend meetings?

  whose victims' families are hoping in vain that this baptized felon gets caught while he is being shielded from "secular" prosecution?

  there are many fanatical Jews / Zionists

  I'm not sure that certain races such as Muslims or Jews hold the monopoly on being fanatics. There are some ultra-conservative so-called Christians that seem to be quite fanatical too. Look at the attacks on abortion clinics for example. They are willing to kill for their cause. I'm not sure though, if they would be willing to die for it.

  Armaggedon pic from new childrens book?

  does anyone have this book that could scan the pic?

  i heard tell that it was fairly graphic for a childrens book, rather in the spirit of the paradise book of the 50s.. thanks.

  At least we can bottle up that water in our Coleman jugs and use it later. Just make sure you write your name on your jug with the crayon so we don't mix them up. Because if you touch my jug, I'll kill you!

  the tour is just over 1/2 way, and he is only 21 seconds ahead.

  tomorrow is the individual time trial.

  i think that will be the determining factor.

  Lance only has a 15 second lead now over Jan Ullrich. In a post-race interview with Lance, he mentioned that he is suffering from dehydration after the ITT. He lost almost 15 pounds during that event. That's 15 pounds in 1 hour!! He has been rehydrating between races both with IV's and orally, and feels tomorrows race in the mountains will go better than today.

  Impending divorce

  Are you sure about that? They reported on OLN that he has reconciled with his wife. Have you heard otherwise?

  At least George is getting what he wanted. The parents of that soldier should call George on the phone and tell him how delighted they are at that comment.

  I'm beginning to feel sorry for those US soldiers. At first they seemed to be invaders, but now they are becoming victims too. Can you imagine the guilt you would feel invading a country, killing other human beings, then realize you are there because of lies? No wonder there are suicides (non-combatant fatalities)among the troops.

  There are a number of illustrations that are questionable for children. Check out page 133. Here there is an illustration of Stephen being stoned to death. I don't want my child seeing this. An illustration of a man having his skull crushed by large rocks is not appropriate.

  Page 137 shows a man being punched in the face. Not as bad, but still kind of violent.

  On the lighter side...

  See page 146 where David Hasselhoff (Mitch from Baywatch) is playing soccer right under a picture of Celine Dion.

  Page 199 has Jesus portrayed either as 8 feet tall, or surrounded by midget Roman soldiers.

  Page 246 is full of subtle suggestions. Bad boys smoke and wear their hats backwards. Bad men wear flannel shirts and have beards. Good boys wear suits and good men are clean shaven.

  Page 251 clearly indicates that the Crayola crayon company will survive armagedon. Ditto for the Thermos (or maybe Coleman) company. Also Raggedy Anne obviously has no pagan origins, as the doll survived armageddon too.
